Wiplstix Mod
So there we go. All done pretty much, and it still fits in the case with the bow (I thought the fine-tuners on the tailpiece would have been in the way but it worked out just fine)

I agree with you about it looking like a pipe bomb. I am travelling through Heathrow, which has got to be the most paranoid airport out, so it does concern me. I am putting it in my hold baggage, though. I figure if it survived being air-freighted to me with the bridge up, it'll survive it again. I like the idea of painting it, pity it is not a totally blank slate, trying to cover over the random writing will be a pain.
