Flying Visit

Our friend Simon visited for the weekend. He was in Sydney with work and popped over for a few days. He is in great form and is probably the most jet-lagged man on the planet right now, having flown from Ireland-america-sydney-perth-sydney and right now is chairing a seminar on approx 1 hours sleep. See you soon Simon.

So, I came home from work yesterday, just to pick up my fiddle on the way to another gig and found these two boyo's scooping away on the porch. Fair play lads!

Beers with the Finnman

I had a few beers with Finn last night watching movies, he is great fun!

The garden....

Margaret did an amazing job on the garden when she was here in April. But since then it kinda got out of control, i dont have any photos but picture 1 foot tall grass in patches. Well, Jane and Mick did a job on it last friday and the place looks great!

Back to the shed....

The Shed is a bar in northbridge here in Perth where we got the Wellie Toss board for the stag/bucks fete before the wedding. We have had it now for about 6 months so it was time to return it. Here is Mick trying to squeeze it into the back of the car.

Looks kinda like the back of the DeLorean in back to the future doesnt it.....

Perfect fit!

Paging Dr Finn

Finn got a hold of some online medical qualifications the other day and started his own practice....

A brand new globe....

They call lightbulbs globes over here for some reason. Last year the trusty projector started to give warning signs of its globe coming to the end of its functionality, so i went and bought one online for a bargain of $800!!! The warning lasted for almost an entire year until last weekend where it finally shuffled off its mortal coil and joined the choir invisible.

Here it is, still in one piece after a year sitting in the drawer

Five mins later and here we have it all reset and resealed. The quality is much improved and we have another 2000 hours of cinemascope entertainment anead of us.

ITS A TRAP!

A present from Jane from the states, its Admiral Akbar, the most understated charachter in the star wars universe. He only has about two lines, but they are epic!

Robot chicken did a skit on him as well
