We had our usual slew of giggery yesterday on the 17th, some quotes of the day from punters:

To be fair that lady had just walked in at the end of a set whilst we played mustang sally, a song adopted by irish bands on account of the Roddy Doyle move the Commitments, but that movie is 20 years old now so the link is not as relevant, when I said "What, we have been playing irish music for the last 8 hours", I think she was even more baffled than I was"

Finally, my name in lights....well sort of....

I got myself a gig out of town for the next few weeks, through an agency, and never specified the name of the band, so I was greeted with this sign last sunday when I got to the venue. The guitar player was amused, but not as much so as by the spelling of the friday arvo band.
