Hally's Greatest Hits....

Mick started a new instrument the other day. The Saw.

Here he is, an absolute blur, it was hard to tell where the the man stopped and the instrument began! (could also be due to the copious amounts of homebrew before taking photos)

Here he is with his rendition of Mozarts 3rd Violin Concerto. Such passion, such serinity.

And here is his latest album available in stores nationwide NOW!

Cake of the year

It was Finn's third birthday at the weekend so we had a party and Jane made him a cake out of a swiss roll, and other bits and pieces and lots of icing

He is mad for Thomas the Tank Engine and his favourite train is Henry (the green one...)

Happy Birthday Finn

New soloist in town...

Jane and I are playing a concert in a few weeks and Jane is the soloist! It is a local amateur orchestra consisting mainly of teachers and retired performers, sounds really good!

One of my daily reads

Here is a link to one of my favourite websites. I check this site out pretty regularly. It is great for all things gadgetry and new. Above is one of their posts on a new type of folding electric bike.

Flying Visit

Our friend Simon visited for the weekend. He was in Sydney with work and popped over for a few days. He is in great form and is probably the most jet-lagged man on the planet right now, having flown from Ireland-america-sydney-perth-sydney and right now is chairing a seminar on approx 1 hours sleep. See you soon Simon.

Irishmen for hire

So, I came home from work yesterday, just to pick up my fiddle on the way to another gig and found these two boyo's scooping away on the porch. Fair play lads!

The garden....

Margaret did an amazing job on the garden when she was here in April. But since then it kinda got out of control, i dont have any photos but picture 1 foot tall grass in patches. Well, Jane and Mick did a job on it last friday and the place looks great!

Back to the shed....

The Shed is a bar in northbridge here in Perth where we got the Wellie Toss board for the stag/bucks fete before the wedding. We have had it now for about 6 months so it was time to return it. Here is Mick trying to squeeze it into the back of the car.

Looks kinda like the back of the DeLorean in back to the future doesnt it.....

Perfect fit!
