Mel-burn-cup
There is an annual horse race, grand national-esque, which is accompanied my many local traditions including the novelty bonnet. This was our departments attempt at school last week, we came second, scoring points for innovation......

Some attribute the recent qantas grounding to union issues, truth is the annual graduation of the year 12's here at school, along with its ritual releasing of balloons may have something to do with it......

Since my back has been at me I find sitting in the car for long periods very difficult, so I have a new chauaffeur....
Royal Show with the kids
We took the lads to teh royal show (big agricultural and fun-fair annual activity here in Perth) last week. It was good fun but Atticus was a bit too young to really get what was going on, except for the sheep, he loves sheep.
