Viola players.........
So, i tried to join a local orchestra yesterday, emailed the chairperson, got chatting to her over a couple of emails, all sounded good, nice program etc. Arranged to call around to rehersal tonight at 730 just off Glasgow Road. So I rocked up to work today with my map all ready to take a trip out there this afternoon. Out with the map, no sign of that road anywhere near Perth.

Charlie - thanks for letting me know - an easy mistake to make! I told your tale at orchestra last night and everyone was amused in a gentle way. So thank you for cheering us all up!! The double basses said "oh well he'll make it for next week then" and the bassoons "so? There are planes" .... so if you ever do make it to the original fair city of Perth come and see us, you'll be remembered.
Good luck in finding an orchestra in Perth Australia - they have the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (formerly known as Perth Symphony Orchestra) which I think is professional.
