Good from afar but far from good


Here is a picture of a Lamborghini Countach and my Mazda 121 from last weekend. It looks really fancy but on closer inspection its not actually that good at all. Its a replica, complete with odd nuts and bolts and everything. Saying I could do better would be a lie, but given enough time and yellow sticky tape, I bet I could make my mazda look the part!

The fact that it fits inside a standard size car space is a dead giveaway. There's bucket loads of Ferrari Kit Cars doing the rounds in Ireland, all built on Toyota MR2s. The funny thing is that people buy the kits in parts, so you end up with a car that's as wide as a Ferrari at the back, with still with the Toyota wheel base. The rear wheels would be a foot inside the body until the owner could afford the spacers for the back!
