More tales from the pit...

All's going well with the show, only 57 more to go. Last week the conductor asked me to play out a particular bit originally marked pp (pretty quiet for the non musical readers) and muted (a device on the viola to make it even quieter) , so i gave it an appropriate amount of welly the following night, but it wasn't enough, so the following night i really dug in and he still wanted more, so after a chat with him suggesting that i remove the mute, which he did not allow, i did what any enterprising young violist would do and used a cello bow with the mute half on, much to the hilarity of all (picture above). He was satisfied with that. So just back from a day of giggery now, naming my new beers and watching terminator 3 till Jane gets back from her gigs. Governor Arnie is great in this one. Did a photoshoot for the bands album (recording tomorrow) today too so should have some photographic gems for the blog, watch out mid-week.........ILL BE BACK
