I needed a new G string for the Saigon show, so i popped into my regular music guys and had a browse and i came across a set of pirastro Evah Pirazzi's. Judging by the price tag they should make my viola solos sound like Orson Wells singing in his bathroom, we'll see at tomorrows show. In my search i came across this handy review of strings which you may find handy.
