Soakwell and beers

The patio area out the back of the house has been subsiding steadily for the last year so we decided to fix it up at the weekend. Mick was flown in especially and I called in the help of two other musicians (who else do you call when you need DIY work done....) also, Dan and Tristen.

Here is most of the paving removed.

Dan and Tristen compacting the new sand (which we stole from a nearby building site and put in Tristens boot, you know, Sand Theft Auto!

And here we are many hours and beers later with the finished product. We ended up using full kegs to bash in all the bricks. Beer, the solution to everything.

And here it is the following day, looking brand new.
